URL switch

Hokaay,

So... a few people have mentioned the fact that 'avfx' is kinda ... well.. what exactly? Nothing easy to remember that's for sure. I have purchased www.julianbutler.com and in the coming months will transfer both the photo site and blog site over to this much more easy and clear URL for my purposes.

In fact it's already live and points to the photos. But at some point, this will reverse and avfx will simply forward to www.julianbutler.com. Onwards!

Shooter on the roof

A client gave me access to their rooftop today to shoot a piece. It was great to be up high in Wellington amongst shiny constructions. I could do a whole series just of rooftops! I'll post some glimpses in due course...

Birthday Camera

Well it's me birthday and my lovely wife and kids made me a camera cake! Knowing I'm a compulsive snapper, what could be more delicious than an edible 35mm cakestamatic? ;-)

See Here not anymore...

Well, the show has been taken down now and it was a highly pleasant and successful experience for me. The amount of imagery I sold far outweighed my expectations and overall the response to the show was great. I'll definitely do this again.

I'd really like to thank Sean Antrobus for helping me put it up, Chloe Holbrook and Derek Kelly for looking after it for me and Brian Lomas for helping take it down again. You guys made this whole thing possible and it really meant a lot to me.
